Why I Chose ISB:

I chose the ISB because every biological process is only a small part of a larger system. Understanding not only the area of interest but any other mechanisms that may influence it can give a deeper understanding into what is truly going on. I also believe that using a variety of approaches and looking at problems through different lenses is vital for scientific success. The University of Pittsburgh provides students with a vast array of resources from innovative facilities to outstanding faculty mentors to support their graduate students in their studies.

Hobbies:

I enjoy playing video games, running, and drawing in my free time.
